Who I am

Seabreeze Marketing is run by me, Katrina (Kat) McAllister, a sole trader based in Whitstable, Kent. I'm responsible for any personal details you share with me through this website. If you have any questions, email me at kat@seabreezemarketing.co.uk.

What I collect

When you fill in the booking form, I collect the details you choose to give me:

  • your name and business name
  • your email address and, if you add it, your phone number
  • how you'd like to meet, what you'd like to chat about and when suits you
  • anything you tell me about your business in your message

If you email, call or message me on social media, I'll also have the details that come with that message.

Why I use it

I only use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange our coffee or call, and, if we decide to work together, to provide my services and keep in touch about that work. I use them because it's in our shared interest to respond to your enquiry, and because it's needed before and during any work we agree.

I won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails unless you've asked me to, and I'll never sell your details.

Who else sees it

Form messages are handled by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and then sent to my email inbox. These services store data securely on my behalf and may store it outside the UK, with safeguards in place. I don't share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long I keep it

If we don't end up working together, I'll delete your enquiry within 12 months. If we do work together, I'll keep the details I need for as long as we're working together, and for as long as I need to keep business records afterwards.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time to:

  • see the personal details I hold about you
  • correct anything that's wrong
  • delete your details
  • stop using your details

Just email kat@seabreezemarketing.co.uk and I'll sort it. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
